ALFARRAG CONSTRUCTION understands the importance of providing quality, safe and clean services to our clients, which is the vital part of being a successful building services provider. We are responsible for the safety of our employees and fully committed to providing a safe and unpolluted working environment that meets the highest international standards. Thus, we strive to align our business practices and principles through the projects we deliver to our clients. Due to the applied safety standards, we are obliged to provide a safe, healthy, and damage-free work environment for all employees, workers, visitors, pedestrians, and residents of the surrounding areas.
ALFARRAG strongly believes that our long-term success as a notable entity is dependent upon the ability to keep our workforce and members of the public, safe and sound. Therefore, we’ve enforced health restrictions and implemented robust risk elimination protocols aiming to reach a zero accidents percentage.
In order to foster a safe workplace, it is important to only employ responsible and competent staff. This is maintained through, both onsite training (to ensure all staff have been trained to use equipment properly) and general health and safety training, such as manual handling and fire safety. Furthermore, The Risk Assessments are an important part of ALFARRAG so employers can put in place appropriate preventative actions for each risk identified. One caveat to the legislation is that it requires employers to protect ‘as far as is reasonably practical’ the health and safety of their employees. The key thing here is risk. If something is identified as a very low risk factor, and 6 would incur significant cost to mitigate, taking action would not be needed.
